La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Branson

The staff were kind and the location was great, but my husband and I had a very upsetting stay. We were in room 300, where we found a web with dead spiders in the shower. When we reported it, they said they'd clean the room, but only wiped away the web and brought fresh towels. There was no actual cleaning or disinfecting. On the morning we left, my husband spotted a bug crawling on me. At the desk, we weren't sure at first whether it was a bed bug. The staff member thought it looked like a beetle, but said someone would “bomb” the room. That made me wonder why a beetle would need that. A little after checkout, I noticed bites on my arm that looked consistent with bed bug bites. Now my arm is covered in them, and I have to go through all our things to make sure nothing got into our bags. We won't stay here next time we're in Branson.

Kathy was thoughtful and did a wonderful job accommodating our needs. We came with a very large group of Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities, and she helped me put together a room itinerary so we could check in and head straight to our rooms when we arrived. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and all the staff were friendly, helpful, and quick to make us comfortable. I'd highly recommend this place for a group of Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities.

Getting around was easy from here. It's technically off the strip but close to 76. The hotel was clean and well looked after, including the pool, and the hot breakfast had lots of choices. Staff kept the food stocked, and the dining area was spotless. I'd recommend staying here.

I'm usually a Hilton fan, but this LaQuinta may change that. The hotel was renovated in 2019 and has been kept up really well. There were charging ports and outlets all around the bedroom, and the bathroom was lovely, with real bars of soap and bath mats for the tub. The new shower floor wasn't slippery, either. Breakfast was awesome, and the front desk staff were great.
