Deborah was so courteous and easy to talk to, and she and Roger made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The Dolan house was a convenient walk from Saxon Manor, where we were attending a wedding. I’m usually not keen on B&Bs, but the great ratings and ideal location convinced us to give it a try. Breakfast was excellent, and even with my very restricted diet, they both made me feel that it wasn’t a problem. I wish I’d been able to try more of Roger’s amazing quiche. We had a great stay.

Breakfast at the Dolan House was the best we had on our six-day trip, with fruit, eggs, pastries, sausage, coffee, juice, and more. We didn’t need to look for a breakfast spot. My wife and I were riding the C2C trail across FL, and the house is very handy to the Good Neighbor Trail, actually the Good Neighbor Connector to the Trail. There are also a couple of places to eat nearby.

We loved staying here and are looking forward to coming back. The home is beautiful inside and out, a historical place that’s 135 years old, and the hosts were some of the nicest I’ve met. Our balcony looked over another historic building that was also a museum. There are still plenty of shops and stores around, tucked into Florida’s beautiful landscape. We walked to a lovely breakfast every morning and watched the sunset from the balcony.

The snow room was just the right size for my husband and me, and the bed was so comfortable. Debra and Roger were wonderful hosts, and breakfast was fantastic. We also really enjoyed chatting over breakfast with the other couple staying in the house. We were there May 25th through May 27th, 2024, and can’t wait to return to this lovely little town and the beautiful Dolan house. Thanks for sharing your home with us.
