We had our wedding ceremony in the beautiful event space on the 6th floor, then went straight to Chez Maggie for an intimate dinner for four. Jeff, our server, was top notch, and Jarred went above and beyond to make it an unforgettable experience. This is such a special place with so many highlights. Move it to the top of your list, you won’t regret it!

Maia at the front desk deserves a special thank you. Her kindness, professionalism, and real hospitality made our stay memorable. Thompson Denver also has a great restaurant and bar, with excellent food, a lively but relaxed feel, and lovely ambiance. The hotel’s design is modern, warm, and elegant, and the downtown location puts you close to everything. Our room was spotless and comfortable, with thoughtful details. We’ll definitely be back.

We were welcomed warmly as soon as we arrived, and the delicious chocolates were a nice surprise. The bar has a sophisticated feel and is a lovely place to unwind. With the Thompson right in downtown Denver, it’s easy to get to nearby restaurants and concert venues. The staff take care with the details and made us feel looked after. We were very happy with our stay and would gladly return.

I stayed three nights at the Thompson Denver on my first trip back after moving away from Colorado in August. Kimberly at the front desk was a huge help after a long travel day. I got into my room five hours early and was upgraded from a neighborhood view to a city view on the 10th floor. I grew up in Denver, but that view still stunned me. I can only imagine what it’s like for someone seeing the city for the first time. The hotel is right by the newly renovated 16th Street in the heart of downtown, yet my room stayed completely quiet at every hour. It was spotless and modern, with the basics I needed and a soft bed that was perfect for a post-airport nap or relaxing after dinner. I work in a Michelin stared restaurant, so I can be a little particular about service. The Thompson met and exceeded my expectations. Every interaction with staff felt personal and memorable, and that’s hard to fake. It pairs with Denver like a fine wine, not essential to enjoying the city, but it makes the experience so much better. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Denver, or to locals wanting a staycation and a fresh view.
