There was hair and toenails all over the bathroom floor. So gross. The pool was freezing, with no heat, and there’s no hot tub. It wasn’t supposed to open until 11, but when we got there at 11:05 there were no towels and it was freezing outside. We asked an employee for pool towels, and he yelled that we weren’t supposed to be there, refused to give us any, and swore at us. We’re trying to get a refund and staying somewhere else. I took pictures of the room because the employee seemed unpredictable, and I didn’t want him wrecking it and blaming us.

Very basic setup: plastic furniture, just two pillows and no comforter. The place hadn’t been vacuumed. The woman at the front desk was extremely watchful, but somehow didn’t seem to notice the drug deals in the parking lot.

You get what you pay for, and even $65 feels like too much here. I’d strongly suggest staying somewhere else. Don’t be tempted by the pool and breakfast, either. They’ll leave you disappointed.

We stayed there last night, and it was fine until the baby got sick and threw up on the bed. After I’d paid $99 for the room, she charged me a $50 cleaning fee. I took the sheets off and found pee stains on the sheet beneath the bed cover, so they hadn’t been changed. She gives out extra pillows and towels, which makes me wonder. No surprise this is the cheapest place around with the person running it. Please don’t stay here. I’ll be calling the health inspector. For what they charge, they should keep the place open, warm the pool and clean the rooms better. The pool is cold.

I was at the Buffalo Buget hostel inn for about 18 months, and things went well. Mona runs a good place.
