The hotel looks great, is clean, and has friendly staff. Breakfast had plenty of choices, the cinnamon rolls were especially good, and the coffee was great. They also handled our service requests well. It’s close to restaurants, shopping, and the military base. Our only question is why the manager regularly parks in a spot that isn’t meant for parking, just short of the entrance awning. When guests need to pull up with a cart to load or unload, it’s hard to turn in if another vehicle is doing the same.

We ended up paying almost $500 for one night, after booking two non-refundable nights through Priceline. We couldn’t make the first night, and accepted that we’d lose that money, but expected to have a room for the second night as reserved. When we arrived that evening, the desk attendant said the Priceline reservation had been voided because of the no-show. The hotel never contacted us to warn us. They said they could only let us stay if we booked and paid for another reservation. As a tired family trying to find somewhere to sleep, we had no way around that, and the hotel’s rate for that night was much higher than Priceline’s per-night rate. We stayed one night and paid for three. Priceline customer care contacted the hotel for us about a possible refund, but the hotel refused. Then the fire alarm went off at 2 a.m. It terrified our children, and we had to stand outside for 15 minutes in below-freezing weather. I won’t forget how awful this experience was.

The rooms were clean, the bathroom had what we needed, and the breakfast was fine. But the front desk staff were dismissive and unprofessional, and didn’t make me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. I was given two room keys during the stay without anyone checking my ID or name. When I misplaced my key near the end and needed to get my belongings, I showed my receipt and confirmed the name and room details, but was still refused a replacement because I didn’t have ID with me. I understand policies, but it felt like they were treating me as if I were breaking into my own room instead of trying to help. I’ve had better, more consistent hospitality at budget hotels. If you’re okay with clean rooms but don’t mind staff making you feel like an inconvenience, or the risk that anyone could get a room key depending on who’s working, go ahead and book. Otherwise, save yourself the stress. It’s funny that the so-called “manager” brought up assuming my boyfriend was in the room. If that were really the case, do you honestly think I would’ve gone to the front desk? Please be real with yourself and use some common sense.

The hotel was very clean and well managed, and the front desk staff were super helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back. My only complaint was the breakfast bar staff, who were aggressive and rude to guests.
