The Inn on Pine

We were able to walk into town easily, and the people looking after the hotel were lovely. Each afternoon they put out cookies, which was a sweet little treat. It was cool and rainy while we were there, but the hot tub and the fire pit by the breakfast area made the stay feel romantic. The fireplace was adorable and worked well too. We had a really nice time and would recommend this place.

I can’t speak to what a stay would have been like, since I never stayed here. My complaint is about how the business handled my refund. I booked a refundable one-night stay in December on 9/10/25, then cancelled on 10/24, within the allowed cancellation period. I got a cancellation confirmation. On 10/24/28 I emailed Kirsten to ask about the refund, and she said it would be processed within a couple of days. When nothing came through, I followed up on 11/15. Kirsten replied that she’d look into it and get back to me, but the refund still hadn’t been resolved a month later. I’ve now filed a complaint with the BBB and am disputing the charge with my credit card company. Requiring advance payment and then leaving customers to send repeated emails for a valid refund is not how a business should be run.

Tracey was a huge help, thank you! The rooms were clean and had plenty of space. We loved the location too, with lots of good places to eat nearby in Calistoga. Would definitely recommend.

Downtown is just a few minutes away on foot, which made it easy to explore. The staff were lovely and attentive, and the little extras made the stay feel special: homemade granola at breakfast, fresh cookies in the afternoon, and robes and pool towels ready to use. Our room seemed newly updated, looked beautiful, and was spotless. The bed was so comfortable, and the pool and hot tub were just right for relaxing. Every detail made the visit memorable. We can’t wait to come back.
