We stayed in the Wine room and loved it. It had its own entrance and parking spot, a small fridge, a fireplace, and even a decanter of port for guests. The room was very clean and huge, with stairs up to an extra bedroom. The decor was lovely too. The owner was extremely hospitable and friendly, and made us feel welcome. Breakfast in the morning and wine and cheese in the evening were wonderful. There’s an indoor pool and hot tub as well. The place is a quiet, quaint BnB in a mansion built around the 1800's. It feels tucked away, though downtown Calistoga is only a five-minute walk. Great location, and I’d happily stay again.

We booked several rooms for our family and us for the wedding, and things were fantastic. Toppa was a hospitality king, even printing out our vows promptly before the ceremony. The breakfasts were amazing, and the hot tub was the most high-tech one I’ve ever used. It wasn’t too hot, either. Only mishap was bumping my head on the low ceiling in the carriage house loft.

The staff were wonderful, happy to chat or leave us to ourselves. Our room was clean and spacious, with a great jacuzzi tub, and there was also a hot tub out back. Breakfast was delicious, and the evening wine and cheese was a lovely touch. It was a short, pleasant walk to the main part of town. I haven’t seen much of Napa Valley, but from what I did see, Calistoga gave us the best experience.

I found my new little getaway at the end of March, and now I’m enjoying my second stay. Toppa is a genuinely good person and provides amazing customer service. The full breakfast is fantastic, and even the scones are incredible. If you’re after a spa break and a week or weekend that feels like stepping back in time, this is the place.

The house is beautiful, and our room was warm and comfortable. We especially liked the heated indoor pool and the outdoor hot tub, which feels like it’s out in the forrest. It’s an excellent getaway, with the town center an easy walk away.
