Irving House At Harvard

It’s on a quiet street, so getting a good rest was easy. Breakfast was really good, and the prices felt fair for what you get. The staff were genuinely friendly and made things feel simple from the start. I’d happily stay again.

Harvard Square is just a short walk away, which made getting around super convenient. I booked a small double room with a shared bath, and it fit the two of us well. There are two full bathrooms on each floor, just a few steps from the room, and I never had to wait. Both the room and shared bathroom were clean, though the room was a little old. The staff are so friendly, breakfast is served, and there’s always coffee and cookies at the front. It’s really worth the price. I’ll be back.

It’s about as close to Harvard as you can get, and the rates seemed reasonable. The staff are friendly, breakfast is quite good, and the street is quiet. Since it’s a house, you can hear other guests. The bed was softer than I like, and checkout just meant leaving the keys in a basket.

The location is excellent, within walking distance of Harvard University, Harvard Square, and the T station for getting into Boston. I didn’t try breakfast because of my schedule and lack of morning appetite. The shared bathroom was always clean, and I only had to wait a few minutes once. The room is tiny and it feels like a boarding house. Parking was the real challenge. They describe it clearly enough, but I still had a near panic trying to maneuver into a spot. My car is small compared with the others, and I was afraid I’d get stuck, scrape something, or hit another car.
