The Belmont Inn

The Belmont Innkeeper was accommodating and a great chef, and the decor was charming. The inn is conveniently placed near downtown shops and local sightseeing attractions. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend it.

We had a lovely one-night stay at the Belmont Inn. The location made it easy to walk to Camden’s main attractions, and the common areas and gardens were gorgeous. The innkeeper and staff were warm and welcoming, and breakfast was delicious. The room was modest, with limited outlets, a small size, a thin mattress, and a noisy bed frame. You might want to ask for extra pillows or bring your own. The house was extremely quiet at night, so we felt we had to whisper and tiptoe to avoid waking other guests. We put on white noise to soften the silence. Even so, we had a great stay and would recommend this spot for a quaint, quiet getaway.

Kim had wonderful suggestions for dining and exploring, and the Belmont Inn is only a block from downtown Camden, so it’s very convenient. The room was tastefully furnished and made us feel at home, with a very comfortable bed. The property was impeccable, the welcome warm and inviting, and breakfast scrumptious. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it!

This gorgeous B&B gives you both the warm hospitality of the South and the distinct charm of the Maine coast. Kim is an engaging, charming host, and the personal touches throughout the house made us feel more like family and friends than guests. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with lovely details and charm at every turn. The location is right by downtown and the harbor, with everything within a 15-minute walk and most places just 5-7 minutes away. There are great restaurants nearby, and you can take AMAZING bay tours on sailing ships, aka schooners. It’s also a great base for visiting the many nearby small towns and seeing the incredible foliage. Of all the places I’ve visited, this is in my top five. Please stop by for a spectacular stay.
