Sand Castle Inn

We stayed here in July 2023. The building is blue now, not brown as shown on the webpage, just so you know. The place was cozy, and the water, toilet, air, view, and towels were all great. One small but major problem: there were coffee beans, a grinder, and a coffee maker, but no cream or sugar. Disaster! The coffee shop had a line out the door, so I finally went to the general store and paid $7 for a small bag of sugar and got cream. Back at the room, I made coffee.

This is our regular beach spot. The location is excellent, just one block from the beach and three from town. Our room had a separate bedroom and two queen beds, and the kitchen had everything needed for cooking.

It was nice to have things like towels, dish soap, and trash bags, which other places I’ve stayed didn’t provide. I only needed to bring food. The bed was a little soft, and I could hear cars passing, but traffic was light and the noise didn’t bother me.

It was clean, affordable, and just right for our trip. The beach was a block away, and we could walk to everything we wanted to see and anywhere we wanted to eat. Absolutely amazing stay!
