Hampton Inn Canton

Beadi and the other front desk staff were helpful at check-in and helped us get the best rate. The renovated room had comfortable beds and nice linens, and it was a good stay overall. But it was missing some basics: just one wastebasket, a coffee maker with missing parts that couldn't be used, no soap dish, and no grab bar for stepping over the tub. We told the morning desk staff so those things could be added for future guests. The room details and amenities need attention.

The cable wasn't connected to the TV, though we didn't really need it. Just mentioning it in case the next guest does. What I loved was the room: it felt brand new, had a ceiling fan (I can't sleep without one), and the beds were super comfortable. The comforters even reminded me of my duvet at home. We meant to stay at Holiday Inn, but they had no rooms, and thank goodness, because I hadn't read the reviews before we stopped during our road trip. We're so pleased with this Hampton. I was excited enough to write this before checkout, and I'm looking forward to the breakfast people say is amazing.

The breakfast was full, not the bare-minimum kind that seems common at Hilton properties lately. The place is dated, but it's been kept up, was surprisingly clean, and the staff were friendly and genuine. Once the renovations are finished, it could be one of the best Hampton Inn's in Mississippi. I'll be back. Regards, a longtime diamond member.

Everyone was friendly and helpful, and breakfast was hot and nice. The rooms are a little dated, though very clean. Special mention to the woman working in the kitchen. I didn't catch her name, but she was great.
