Red Roof Inn Canton

I love being able to wake up in the evening, walk to the office for coffee or tea, and chat with the staff. While walking my service dog during my insomnia, I met Diana, one of the most outstanding people I've encountered. Talking with her feels like visiting a long-lost aunt or friend on a portico. I'd recommend this location for its safety, friendliness, and great hospitality.

Of all the Red Roof Inns I've visited, some have been poor and some excellent, and this one sits somewhere in the middle. The room and bed were excellent, and the staff were excellent too. Parking and the general atmosphere were okay. The building could use power washing or paint, and parts of the lot need new asphalt. At check-in, CHRIS did an outstanding job and went above and beyond to make our stay easier. Thank you so much. If I'm ever back in Canton Ohio, I'll definitely stay here again. Thanks again, much appreciated.

The cleanliness and housekeeping here are awful. I saw a housekeeper vacuuming her bed with the sheets still on it, then using just one cleaning product and one cloth to wipe everything, including the bathroom. I watched her clean three rooms in under 10 minutes. Dirt under the beds is everywhere. She wipes the counter and then the toilet seat with the same cloth, carrying counter dirt to where you sit. Sure, at least there's a cleaner like spic and span, but that one cloth is the problem. I swear to this truth and would testify in court. Only stay if that's all the money you have. If you can afford somewhere else, take my word and go there. You won't appreciate the service or the dirt. UPDATE: On the night of March 4,2026, my girl and I came to rent a room. We checked in and paid, then inspected it before settling in, as we always do. There was hair in the bed that wasn't ours and something nasty on the toilet, so we asked for a different room. They gave us one, but we couldn't get the door open. Then they assigned us one last room, where we settled, and charged us twice. We have to wait a few days for our money. The morning of March 5,2026, we were suddenly told we were on the DNR list. He said it was because we keep complaining about the rooms' cleanliness. They're never clean, and the sheets aren't changed. We had to use our own sheets and pillows last night, and we'll use them again tonight. We believe we're being discriminated against because we want clean rooms. Now we can't rent rooms. Kurt the GM made that decision.

This Red Roof Inn was excellent in every other way, but the Wi-Fi and television were unreliable, working only sometimes. I needed internet for work. They were pet friendly, though! 😊
