The room and location were great, but the service was unprofessional and left us unable to trust the place. We stayed one night before our cruise two weeks ago. We arrived in the morning knowing the room wouldn't be ready until later that afternoon, as usual, and left our two suitcases and one backpack with the front desk before going to Kennedy Space Center. When we returned to check in and handed over our luggage ticket, our bags were missing and no one knew what had happened. It took the GM about an hour to figure out they'd accidentally given them to guests who checked in earlier. The GM apologized and said we'd be compensated with points and have the room charges dismissed for the inconvenience. Two weeks later, there'd been no points, refund, or communication. Imagine losing all your belongings the night before a cruise. I guess terrible service is fine if you're just a tourist. Book at your own risk. To management: keep the points and whatever compensation you promised. Nobody cares. I'm never coming back.

We'd stay here again, even with the $12 parking charge, though come on, this isn't NYC. The hotel is convenient to the cruise port and offers paid parking while you're on your cruise, plus a shuttle to the port. Our room was clean, the staff friendly, and breakfast was good. What really stood out was the smoking area: it was comfortable and even had bar service. Very convenient for a night before a cruise.

The location made it easy to get to the beach and major roads, so getting to our softball tournament wasn't too bad. The pool area was clean and pleasant, and the pool was much better maintained than the rest of the hotel. Our suite-style room was spacious, the beds were decently comfortable, and we had no issue with noise even though the hotel was full. It was fun seeing the cruise ships in port from the windows. But the hotel seemed badly understaffed. It's popular with cruise passengers, and every night there were insanely long check-in lines. The common areas needed better cleaning. The elevator buttons and floors looked visibly dirty every day. The pillows were so flat they were a joke, and in five nights we only got fresh towels once. With Florida humidity, having wet towels around wasn't pleasant. I also don't understand why a suite room with five guests got only three sets of towels. I had to go down and beg the front desk for more. The staff were pleasant enough, but clearly overwhelmed. Breakfast ended at 9 AM, so sleeping in wasn't an option if we wanted to eat. The coffee was surprisingly good, but the room coffeemaker was missing parts, so I couldn't use it. Luckily we had to leave early most days and could get coffee in the lobby. After this stay, I feel the Marriott brand doesn't mean much anymore. I didn't feel welcome, just like an inconvenience, and for the prices we paid I expected better.

The second room was still dirty, though at least it didn't smell like urine. The shower was filthy, the sink had no stopper, the couches looked dirty, and the lamps had obvious rust and grime. We also found old, crusty towels stuffed above a shelving unit by the door. It was unsettling. The first room reeked of urine throughout, with grime on the remotes and mildew in the shower. I left it cleaner than I found it. When I told the front desk about the smell and asked for another room, nobody apologized or acknowledged the problem. They just handed me a new key. The hotel felt unsanitary and poorly maintained, and I wouldn't recommend staying here. The conditions raise serious concerns about cleanliness and basic hospitality.

We came for a cruise, and getting the shuttle sorted out was a mess. We had to ask twice before the front desk associate booked it, and then he assumed our ship and set us up for the wrong cruise line. We had to get that corrected. Meanwhile, he asked three times whether we were parking a car there. The common areas weren't clean, and the staff felt slow, unhelpful, and unwelcoming. Our room itself was okay, but the beds had only three pillows each. The trundle had no bedding or pillows and was covered in gross food crumbs, so we tucked it away and slept on the couch. When we went down for bedding, we were told there were no extra pillows, but the bag had one. I asked, “One pillow? Do you sleep with just one pillow?” Somehow he then found another one. For a room meant to sleep five, six pillows and three bath towels is absurd. There was hair in the tub and in our beds, some towels were visibly dirty or discolored, and the bathroom wasn't very clean. The counter was stained brown from spilled coffee. The drinks we grabbed from the downstairs market were frozen solid. The beds were so uncomfortable I woke up in so much pain I nearly cried. Lots of little things I might normally overlook added up to an awful stay. Marriott is usually better. We stayed at the Townplace Suites next door last year and it was great. There are plenty of hotels around here, and I'd recommend looking at another one. This place doesn't stack up.
