Jetty Motel

We liked it enough to turn a one-night booking into three. It had what we needed: a kitchenette with dishes, glasses, silverware, microwave, mini coffee maker and fridge, plus a dining table and TV. There's a lot of character from what must be a 1950s or 60s motel, and the AC and plumbing are loud. We had to sleep separately, but neither bothered us. The beach is right there, with ocean views from the patio furniture. There's a beautiful pool, a huge washer and dryer, a working ice machine, and a breakfast and lunch restaurant next door. The staff were super friendly, and the price was affordable. We walked to The Rusty Nail for dinner, then took our motorcycle to the lighthouse and other places a few miles away. A perfect spot for sunset.

The rooms are clean and just right, even with the older look, which I didn't mind. It's very affordable compared with most Cape May places, with a great location and friendly, helpful staff. The floors and ceilings don't block much sound, so it can be noisier if you're on the first floor. I didn't use the pool, but I did see a fun little friend exploring it.

It isn't fancy, but it's good. The place was clean, staff were friendly, and I hope to come back soon. Being this close to the beach was incredible and worth the price, and we had a guaranteed parking spot. The in-room AC was easy to adjust and drowned out outside noise. The mattress was solid, with plenty of pillows and an extra blanket for cooler nights.

The Jetty is a comfortable, convenient motel at the south end of Cape May, and we return every year without a bad experience. The peaceful atmosphere makes it a good place for a weekend or a longer stay. The beach is right outside the door, and you can walk to Washington Street shops, restaurants, and ice cream. The sunsets are awesome to see.
