We loved being able to relax on the front porch, and the location worked well for Washington Street and Ocean Avenue. The room was clean and comfortable, with a decent-sized bathroom just outside it. Since we arrived late, the owner sent us the information we needed to get into the B&B and our room. My husband and I have been visiting Cape May for over thirty years, staying in many B&Bs, first as a couple and later with our children. We love the city and the range of places to stay. This time our grown daughter was in town, and we made a last-minute choice to spend a few days together. We were lucky to find a three-bedroom option at Captain Mey's Inn. We missed getting to meet the owner, and would have enjoyed an afternoon spread of cookies or snacks, which is typical at many Cape May places. We knew there was no breakfast, but coffee and cookies could have been a nice way to meet the other guests. It was clean, comfortable, and convenient, and we enjoyed our stay.

The wraparound porch and charming, very clean house were highlights of our long weekend a couple of weeks ago. The place is close to Cape May's famous Market Street and just a few streets from the beach, right among the popular sights and attractions. It’s a perfect location. Parking is very limited, so try to get a space and leave the car there. I hardly used mine because everything was so close. I highly recommend it and hope to come back on my next Cape May trip.

Great location and amenities, and the hostess was very nice. The parking lot is a bit tight, as advertised, but it worked for us since we have a smaller car.

We stayed for the first time last week and loved it so much that my now-fiancé proposed on the adorable porch! It’s such a charming place, and we felt right at home. The location is perfect: you can walk anywhere and get there in no time. Highly, highly recommend!

We loved the porch and the whole atmosphere, and the woman who runs the place was welcoming and made sure we felt at home. It’s a real gem, perfectly located within an easy walk of the beach and Washington mall. Our room was unique but not very big. If you want a larger room, you’ll probably need to discuss it with the host. We didn’t plan to spend much time in the room, so it worked out fine for us.
