That heated bathroom floor was such a nice feature. The room itself smelled musty when we came in, and cold air came through the unsealed balcony door. It was quiet most nights, but we could hear people walking around when the room upstairs was occupied. There’s no room service in winter. The area felt safe, and the beach was great for daily walks. Coffee was mediocre, so bring your own mug and coffee maker if you want a good cup when you wake up.

We’ve been coming to this wonderful hotel for years, and its location is ideal. On our latest trip, one staff member really stood out. I believe she goes by “Donna”. She was friendly, incredibly helpful, and knew so much. Whether I needed a dry towel, tissues, dinner suggestions, or simply a smile, she came through for us every time. Thank you! We always leave impressed by how the hotel keeps improving and updating its facilities. The Anchorage gets better with each visit, with amazing staff, excellent amenities, and a fantastic location. Already looking forward to our next family trip!

The room my wife and I had was decent, though dated, and I found it hard to get around the foot of the bed. Still, the place is beautiful, we could see the Nubble Lighthouse, and we caught a lovely moonrise. The indoor pool was warm, including the pool area. We stayed three days, but the wifi worked only on one of them. My T-Mobile hotspot didn’t work either, nor did my Verizon phone’s hotspot. Apparently only AT&T works. Calls and texts were a problem too when the wifi was down.

We had Suite rooms with ocean views and a fireplace, which made things feel cozy. It was November, and wonderful. The indoor pool was full of kids, though I guess that’s to be expected. The beach was just a few steps away for a morning sunrise walk. We had a wonderful time off-season, just as we would in season.
