This is my favorite motel so far. The rates are definitely competitive for the area, and the place feels pretty and secluded even though it’s right among the business areas. The staff are great, too. It’s low-key.

My clients couldn’t stay because smoke exposure is unsafe for them due to medical issues. They briefly entered the room, noticed a musty, smoky smell, and left right away to find other lodging. They didn’t stay the night, yet the hotel agreed to refund just one of the two nights. Before I booked, I called the front desk and was told this was a non-smoking hotel with non-smoking rooms. The online photos looked updated and the reviews were positive, so I felt comfortable reserving two nights for clients who wanted a clean, smoke-free room. At arrival, they asked again and were told the room was non-smoking, but the property as a whole is not non-smoking at this time. That was different from what I’d been told when booking. When I called the front desk to discuss it, the staff member was defensive and dismissive, then hung up on me. I’m disappointed in how this was handled and hope management will reconsider a full refund in these circumstances. Travelers should be able to rely on booking information, especially when health concerns are involved. I’m sharing this so others can make an informed choice.

I work nights and need to sleep in the daytime, but they put me right beside a room being renovated. The banging and saws run all day, and when I asked to move, the front desk said nothing else was available. I’ve been here for a week and am stuck for another one. I travel a lot for work and haven’t dealt with a situation like this before. The Wi-Fi advertised at the desk doesn’t work. When I called today, they said they were working on it, so there’s no internet for now. I also went up for toilet paper and was told I couldn’t have any because I got a roll two days ago. What kind of hotel keeps a count sheet for each room? I’ve gone to the desk about moving and about the internet, and both times they made excuses. The place is huge, yet they put me beside the construction. This was my first stay and will be my last. I don’t usually review or complain, but I’d hate for someone else to go through this. There are cheaper hotels here with working internet and friendly staff, so don’t waste your money.

The front desk ladies I met were really sweet, and the property itself wasn’t too bad. I did find a used, dried contact lens that had fallen off the shower seat, but compared with some of the worse experiences other people have had, I thought the room was clean enough. The guests didn’t fit the stereotypical motel image, which made me feel safer than I had when I first pulled up. I booked through AirBNB, where it was presented differently than on Google, and only then realized it was a motel. It’s in a great area and was a decent, budget-friendly stay.
