I wouldn’t recommend this place. I stayed three days and never got a remote, even after asking repeatedly. I was told my dog could stay for $10 a night if I booked more than one night, but on arrival the same guy said I needed to book seven days and claimed I’d spoken with someone from hotels.com. I’m almost positive I saw a bedbug, and there were bug and mouse traps in my room. The owners were rude and lazy.

My fiancé and I stayed one night, and we won’t be back. The room smelled moldy and the door was hard to push open. The bathroom light didn’t work, the mattress was rock-hard, and the tiny pillows were barely there. Save your money.

We checked in, saw the room, and left with our luggage. We didn’t go back for the nights we’d reserved, and found a great Courtyard by Marriott instead. The second-floor hall smelled of old pot and cigarette smoke, and the carpet was worn and dirty. The room and bathroom needed a full overhaul, or maybe a bulldozer. The place was rundown and outdated throughout, from the grimy lobby with a hedge trimmer by the door to the disgusting free-breakfast area. The lobby is shared with the attached Super 8 Motel, too. Wyndham must not care what kind of dump carries its name. I won’t stay at a Wyndham hotel again.

The trash bags left near someone’s room made the hallway smell so bad my whole family got sick, and we couldn’t enjoy our trip. It was also highly unsanitary. We booked thinking Travelodge would be good, but they’d put that name on an old, run-down Super 8 motel. The service was awful and unprofessional. In our rooms, the warped doors wouldn’t close or secure properly, putting my family’s safety at risk. Although they were non-smoking rooms, smoke smell was everywhere. Half the outlets didn’t work or were broken, and the safes and microwaves weren’t secured. The windows weren’t double-paned: the glass pane was resting against the wall, and both panes were plexiglass. One room’s fire alarm had no battery; the alarm in the other room had been removed from its base. The queen beds were sloppily made, with just one pillow each, and I couldn’t tell if the sheets were clean. I pulled back a sheet and found sand or dirt near the foot of the bed. The bathroom floors and tubs were filthy, and the toilet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. “Continental breakfast” was cold cereal and waffles from a filthy waffle iron. We will never book this hotel here or anywhere else. I suggest finding the nearest Hilton or Hilton affiliate wherever you travel. I can guarantee their rooms will be clean, safe, and highly sanitary, with friendly staff. When I called the HILTON and explained what happened, they quickly accommodated our military family and helped us out. Travelodge/Super 8 by Wyndham? Steer clear, and go to the HILTON instead!

The hosts were some of the nicest people I’ve met in ages, and the service was great. It’s clean, quiet, and a nice place to stay for a day or a week. Best of all, there’s no weird activity going on around you.
