The room was decent, clean, and comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well and kept the room warm, and the shower had excellent pressure and temperature. It's about 15 minutes from Cavern, right on the main strip, with plenty of nearby places for food and fuel. The price felt like good value, and I'd consider staying here again. What really stood out was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, and when I lost a valuable personal item, they went out of their way to help and even shipped it back to me. I'm genuinely grateful for their honesty and service, and would happily recommend the hotel.

CHECK THE PILLOW AND UNDER THE BLANKET FOR HAIR before you check in. There was hair on the sheets and pillows in my room. The receptionist was friendly and let me move to another room, but the other rooms had the same problem. The housekeeper hadn't cleaned the sheets and had put on ones from previous guests. The receptionist and the manager were fair and refunded me when I cancelled.

The room was filthy, with bed bugs in the bed, hair in the covers, pee stains on the sheets, and mold covering the shower. I couldn't believe they were renting it out. When I raised the condition of the room with the owners, they were rude and unprofessional. They refused to reimburse me and said I had to keep the room. There was no apology or accountability, just terrible service. The online pictures don't look anything like the real place, so I consider the advertising false. Please stay far away. You deserve better.

It's conveniently right off the highway or main road. This is a two-star hotel, so keep your expectations low. Fine for a one-night stay.

The area felt very safe, and being close to a national park was a big plus. The rooms were spacious, clean, and convenient, and I didn't run into any problems during my stay. It was my first visit to New Mexico, and the managers were incredibly friendly. They went out of their way to point me toward nearby tourist spots. I'd definitely recommend this place to friends and stay again next time I'm in town.
