The hot water barely worked, the sink faucet was loose, and both the sink and faucet were dirty. I also wouldn’t stay here again because the price changed after booking. The online rate was $142, and the woman confirmed that amount when I called to book three rooms. My crew arrived first, then I got there later that night. The next morning, the receipts showed $199 per room, which was neither the advertised rate nor what I’d been quoted on the phone. I feel guests are being cheated by these price changes.

Breakfast at 3 a.m. worked great for us construction and oilfield workers. Six a.m. would be too late. The rooms were very clean, there were extra towels, and the greeting and service were good. There aren’t any stores within two miles, but that wasn’t too bad. I didn’t care for the eggs mixed with cheese, and that coffee could wake the dead. They need to do something about all those rocks in the landscaping.

There isn’t much nearby, but it’s a good spot to rest. Semi trucks can park here either by the highway or beside the hotel, and I recommend the roadside parking. Booking directly can get you a better rate, plus access to home-cooked breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday.
