I booked online in advance for two nights in a room with two queen beds for my family of four, and checked in through the app. We got there a couple of hours after check-in started and found the “system” had changed us to one king with a sleeper sofa, while the reservation now listed just one guest. They eventually “found” an available room and moved us, but it left me wondering what they were trying to pull. There were cheaper nearby hotels if we'd wanted a single bed and sleeper option. This made it clear that an advance online check-in and a reservation with a credit card hold don't mean much.

The front desk staff were friendly and professional, and the hotel was very clean and modern. Our room had a simple but really good layout, especially the bathroom. The humidity felt comfortable, and the air conditioning wasn't loud.

When I'm in Carrollton, this is my go-to. The Courtyard is conveniently located just off the town square, close to several restaurants and the Arts Center. There's plenty of parking, the rooms are clean and modern, and the staff are pleasant.
