Our house burned down, and ALE placed us here through our insurance. The insurer chose this hotel because it was listed as pet-friendly, so our cat could stay with us while we had nowhere else to go. After we unpacked what was left of our soot-covered belongings, we were told less than a day later that cats weren’t allowed. We had to leave. We were already exhausted, and the manager, Ken, showed no empathy. This was a 0/10 experience. Nia at the front desk and Wilbert from maintenance were kind and understanding during our short stay, though, and we appreciated them.

My husband and I have been here for the past few months and haven’t had a single complaint. Everyone, from the staff to housekeeping, is wonderful and goes out of their way to make us feel at home.

I liked the quaint, extended-stay feel, and the location is handy for visiting Cary. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and quickly explained the warm breakfast and housekeeping arrangements. The smells were a problem, though. Our room had a clear moldy odor when we arrived, and the third floor smelled strongly of marijuana and fried food. The hotel is advertised as smoke-free, but that didn’t seem to cover marijuana. Those odors could bother families or anyone sensitive to strong smells. I’d probably choose somewhere else next time because of that.

It was the people working here, and how kind they were to us, that meant the most. The room was comfortable and modern, with the kitchen supplies we needed to make it home for the week. There were thoughtful little extras, too. My son was thrilled about the free popsicles every day, my dog had a water bowl downstairs, and I enjoyed the fancy chocolate they left out. We had a really good stay.
