The breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of bacon and sausage. Everything else was great, too, but our room never got hot water. Staff explained that the heaters are at the far end of the hall, away from the lobby, and water only gets hot when people use it. There were just 3 guests in the hotel that night, so it never reached us.

We slept really well and the room was clean and pleasant. Breakfast was pretty average, though. By the time we got there at 645 am, the eggs were gone and there was hardly any sausage left. We ate yogurt and toast, but didn't see anyone come by to replenish anything.

Getting around was easy, with the freeway exit and downtown nearby, plus a Subway Restaurant within walking distance. The room itself felt cramped, and the beds sit high off the ground, which could be tough if you're short. It was clean when we arrived, but there was no service during our three-day stay. They blamed a boys Hockey team, though I only saw its bus for one day. They also said there were no breakfast forks because of the team, which was hard to understand. I didn't feel especially welcomed by the staff, but we did enjoy the stay.

Breakfast was ready to go and fully stocked, even with a hockey team in town. The room was terrific, with clean sheets, firm pillows, and a bathroom that was meticulously clean. It had a full size toilet, which is a big deal for us full figured men. The place smelled fresh, the staff at check-in were friendly, and the chocolate chip cookies were a little dark at the edges, but gave the place a down home feel.

They let me check in early after I left work with an extreme migraine, which was amazing service. The bed was so comfortable, and the room had everything I needed and felt just the right size. I also enjoyed sitting by myself for a bit in the spacious pool area. I'd definitely book here again.
