Days Inn Casper

After a long drive, I arrived exhausted at 3:30 AM. Kay at the front desk was so courteous and kind, and the room was already warm despite the below-zero weather outside. It was very clean, and I slept comfortably in the bed. She also matched a rate I’d found online. That kind of welcome was a nice change from other hotels I’ve experienced.

The desk staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast had several options plus good hot coffee. Our room was clean and a good deal for the price. Nothing fancy, but totally fine for a quiet night just off the interstate.

The bathroom could use some attention, with steam damage, but the rest of the room was clean, smelled fresh, and had plenty of space. The showers get extremely hot, so be careful if you’re sensitive to that. Staff were friendly, and thanks to the front desk for bearing with my requests. Four stars overall.

The website said pet friendly but didn’t explain the limits. We’d booked and paid ahead because we’re moving, then got there at 9 at night and were told cats weren’t allowed. I offered to pay an extra fee or deposit. The manager lives on the property but couldn’t even be bothered to come speak with me.
