The staff were really nice, and the cold breakfast was fine for what it was. But I was here for work and the laundry room key card stopped working. I reported it, and for about two weeks the manager never came to fix the door. I ended up carrying my laundry to the nearest laundromat, which was so frustrating when I work around the clock and only needed someone to make the stay a little easier.

I booked two months ahead and was told the cancellation window was 24 hours. A snowstorm canceled my trip, and I called more than a day before, but they still refused a refund. The front desk said the policy had changed to 48 hours two weeks earlier. Hilton was no help, so I canceled my longtime Honors membership. I’d stay somewhere else.

We had three rooms for six adults and spent several nights here while following the Ragbrai route. Tisha greeted us late Tuesday and was such a kind, helpful person on the overnight shift. The daytime staff were great with breakfast and answered our questions too. It was also easy to shop nearby for things we’d forgotten. We’ll stay here again.

From the first call to check-out, every staff member was patient, friendly, and accommodating. I booked three rooms for my kids’ small birthday party and worried the staff might mind the usual kid noise, but they were amazing. The whole place was clean, including the pool area. Breakfast didn’t have many choices, though what was there tasted good, and even the coffee was nice.
