Extended Stay America Washington Dc Chantilly Dull

I found roaches on the living room wall and near the bathroom sink, and the toilet never flushed right during my six nights there. I had to pour water into the tank to make it flush fully, even after I reported the problem and was told maintenance would come by. At check-in, the elevator was out, but the desk clerk still tried to put me on the second floor. I had luggage, so I asked for a similar room downstairs. Housekeeping also couldn't speak English, so I had to give them instructions in Spanish. I would give this place zero stars if I could. I'm definitely not coming back. 😒😒

Soleman deserves a special thank-you for going above and beyond. My family was visiting from California, and we chose this hotel because the rates were very competitive. We were treated with great hospitality, and I’m truly grateful for the stay. I’d definitely recommend it. Thank you.

We have one of the three apartment-sized rooms, and it has flooded on us three times. Getting the toilet repaired took ages, and we had to use a different room’s bathroom in the meantime. The repairs here are terrible, management doesn't seem to care, and they don't enforce the rules or check around outside. The elevator is down again, too. I have back problems and use a cane, and I fell yesterday. I'm now looking into legal options over my injuries. Update, December 8, 2025: Things have gotten worse. The elevator had been fixed for more than a month and a half, but after someone died here, they had to be brought down the stairs. The hotel put off having the elevator reinspected because they didn't want to pay fines. I'll post the material I got through my FOIA request all over the internet. This company seems to care more about fixing the signs outside than anything affecting guests or customer service. At 4 a.m. I went to walk my dog and saw someone sleeping in the lobby. The overnight man said it was okay, so I guess staying there without paying is a thing now. Check your options before you come. You'll definitely find something better.

Some of the staff are very friendly, while others aren't. Housekeeping can be helpful, depending on who's working. One day I asked a housekeeper for a towel and she said she'd finished for the day and I should come back tomorrow. I was told I could get fresh linens at the front desk whenever I needed them, but every time I tried, they said they were out and sent me to housekeeping. The floors weren't clean, and the kitchen cabinets weren't clean either.
