Comfort Inn Charleston South Charleston, WV

Being able to sit by the river under the covered overhang was a nice part of the stay. You could watch boats go by and see bass fishermen. The breakfast was awesome, and both the room and the inside of the hotel were super clean. The beds were comfortable too. We were on a motorcycle trip, and the desk staff were really friendly and helpful. They offered to let us park our bike right in front of their window so they could keep an eye on it all night. That meant a lot since it’s our pride and joy and our only way to get around. Having McDonald’s right in the front parking lot also made dinner easy. It’s a really nice hotel in a convenient spot.

I’ve stayed here several times and keep coming back because it’s the best deal in the area. The staff are always helpful, and there are lots of places to eat and shop nearby in this active Charleston suburb. The rooms are modern, and everything looked clean and nice, even the one that smelled a little musty. That room seemed to have an issue with the air unit. Usually the rooms smell freshly sanitized.

We couldn't stay long, but it was a welcome break from a long stretch on the road. The staff were very nice, and both the foyer and rooms were clean. The shower was plenty hot, with moderate but adequate pressure. A convenient place for a trucker to pull off and get some sleep without a crowd. Thanks!

We just needed somewhere close to the freeway for a night while traveling, and the breakfast was good too. The place was surprisingly clean and affordable, with a super friendly staff. I’d definitely stay again.
