Motel 6 Charlotte, NC - University

The first room was next to someone blasting music all night. In the second, people upstairs kept stomping. Worst hotel ever!

No problems during my stay. The staff and housekeeping were friendly, and the person I believe was the office manager was especially kind and good with customer service. I saw her treat other guests and their children the same way she treated me and my grandchildren. My dog Gizmo was welcome, there was no extra fee, and he got all the attention he could handle.

The staff seemed cool when I first arrived, but after a week they told me to leave because I had a dog, even though I'd paid an extra $50 for him. They said I'd get my deposit back if the room was okay. I left it spotless and still didn't get the money back as promised. Other people stay here for weeks or months without being asked to leave. When I explained that to ms.dee, she threatened to call the police, and I don't know why. There are also people wandering around acting suspicious and asking if you want drugs. The staff don't seem to care about customers, just the money. The bathroom mold was so bad I told visitors not to stay in there long in case they breathed it in. I reported it, and ms.dee at the front desk said, “we’re getting it fixed”. This place is trash. Don't waste your time or money here. It should be shut down, and I'll never come back.

The owners went out of their way to help my fiancé and me with a situation that had nothing to do with them or the hotel. I'm really grateful for everything they did. The rooms are very clean, and the staff are friendly. We'll always stay here when we're in Charlotte, and I'd recommend it to anyone.
