The Parlor room was absolutely gorgeous for my sister's bridal shower, and lunch and service from the Asbury were fantastic. We spent the whole bachelorette and bridal shower weekend at the Dunhill, and they exceeded what we expected. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, especially the penthouse. Every staff member was kind, polite, accommodating, and eager to help. Thank you for making it a weekend we'll never forget.

Jordan Kayser, General manager, was easy to work with on the menu and made sure we were accommodated even though a broken water pipe seriously disrupted operations. I hosted a luncheon for 22 people at the Dunhill in Charlotte on February 6, 2026, and all my guests were pleased with every detail. The food and service were excellent, and Sonia and Beth on the waitstaff were especially helpful and responsive. Highly recommended.

The room was just right for me. It had been updated but kept the cozy historic look, which I loved. If you want a very modern place, this may not be your thing. The hotel is beautiful, with older-style charm, and the staff were helpful and really nice. I stayed at The Dunhill hotel last night and had a great experience. No sign of the ghost, but don't let that put you off. I'd recommend staying here if you're in the area.

The lobby was my favorite part. Informative images, including a drawing of the building, made it fun to learn about the place while looking around. The Dunhill Hotel at 237 N Tryon St feels like a piece of old Charlotte that has held up well. It opened in 1929 as the Mayfair Manor and remains one of the city's notable historic hotels.

We got there early for our spooky haunted tour of the town, so we had a couple of cocktails beforehand and, funny enough, enjoyed two more afterward. It's a relaxing place to wait, with an interesting history and really good cocktails.
