Home2 Suites by Hilton Charlottesville Downtown

The rooms have plenty of space and nice views, and this is a pretty good Home2 Suites. Everyone working here was really nice and accommodating. Downtown is an easy walk, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby.

I was pleased with the clean, spacious rooms, the well-equipped gym, and the great front desk staff. Breakfast was another story. The food itself was good, but the person working there just stood by it drinking coffee. A guest had to ask him to refill the home fries, and he said it would take twenty minutes. Much of the food was gone and what was left was barely warm. He didn't seem interested in doing the job.

Downtown Charlottesville is a short walk away, with easy access to the restaurants, live music, and atmosphere that make the area appealing. The staff are fantastic, always polite, professional, and attentive, and their service makes you feel welcome. This is my second stay, and I still enjoy the hotel overall. There were some things that could be better: the dishes in the washer weren't clean, the ironing board needs replacing, and I found a spider in the bathroom. They didn't ruin the visit, but I noticed them. I plan to book here again when I'm in Charlottesville. The location, comfort, and staff make it a solid choice for me.

Laura made things easy and helped make sure my whole group was looked after. The rooms were really updated and top notch, and downtown is right there, with loads of restaurants within walking distance. I'd stay again, 10/10!
