Homewood Suites by Hilton Charlottesville, VA

This new, clean hotel has roomy units with full-ish kitchens and is close to lots of establishments and the UVA campus. For this price range, it's the best place I've stayed, and I've stayed at a lot of hotels. The continental breakfast is the best I've had at any hotel, especially if they're still doing the breakfast tacos. They made a great start to my day. They also do, or did, socials with free beer and wine, so what more do you want?

I've been back for multiple years and am happy I chose it again. Check-in was nice, my room was good, and the employees were polite. Everyone, from the front desk to housekeeping and maintenance, was friendly and helpful. Their hospitality is on point, and the hotel is well maintained inside and out. The winter holiday decorations were lovely. The place runs smoothly, and I had nothing but enjoyable nights at homewood Suites by Hilton Charlottesville, VA. This is how a hotel should be everywhere, all the time.

After a long drive, we arrived an hour before check-in with a cranky toddler who needed a nap. The staff were so kind and let us check in early. The beds were extremely comfortable, and having a full kitchen was a great perk. The room was stocked with everything we needed. We had a wonderful stay at Homewood Suites in Charlottesville, and the breakfast was amazing too. We'll definitely come back next time we're in Charlottesville.

Our daughter needed urgent care at UVA childrens hospital, and we didn't know where my husband and I could stay overnight. A social worker at UVA recommended this wonderful place and paid for our last four nights there. It felt like a home away from home, and we felt comfortable and secure while we were dealing with a lot. It was quiet and clean, and the front desk staff were kind and wonderful. The room had dishes, its own ice makers, a stove, freezer, dining area, flat screen TV, and a king size bed that let my body relax as soon as I lay down. The bed was very clean, and the breakfast selection was great. Getting to and from the hospital was convenient, so we didn't spend all our time driving. Even the music when you walk in was inviting. I was too tired to use the pool, though I wish I had. Maybe an air freshener in the elevator would help with a mildrew smell, possibly related to amenities like the pool. That's nitpicking, though. Thank you for the amazing stay. If you need to be at UVA hospital or in the charollettesville area, I fully recommend this hotel.
