Aloft by Marriott Chattanooga Hamilton Place

This seems better suited to a business traveler during the week than a family. The rooms are cute but small for four, and breakfast isn’t included. There’s an upstairs bar, an outdoor pool, lounge space, and a workout area. We were looking for a Marriott brand hotel in Chattanooga to stop overnight on our way to Florida. It’s clean and new, with a cool, funky style and nice vibes. The catch is that it sits in a mall parking lot, where parking can be a real problem, especially on weekends.

The hotel is always clean, and everyone who works at Aloft in Chattanooga has been helpful and friendly. Lisa at check-in is especially welcoming, and Lisa behind the bar always does a great job and remembers everyone’s favorite drinks. We’re happy whenever either of them is working because we know we’ll be well taken care of.

No soap or shampoo in the shower, and when the front desk told housekeeping, nothing came of it. The front desk was rude, too, and there’s no parking. I won’t come back, and I’m seeking an adjustment to my payment. Find somewhere else if you’re thinking of staying here.

Rooms are spacious and thoughtfully laid out, and the staff handled everything well from check-in through checkout. Room service was on point, too. Aloft Chattanooga Hamilton Place is modern and stylish, with shopping, food, and entertainment just steps away. A good pick for comfort and convenience with a little upscale flair, minus the nonsense.
