Red Roof Inn PLUS+ & Suites Chattanooga - Downtown

We were only here for one night, but had a great stay. Our room was roomy, clean, and had everything we needed, including a small coffee maker. The evening staff member was so kind and attentive, and the young man at reception in the morning was just as welcoming. We’d happily stay again.

Traveling with a dog cost only $100 at this quality hotel, which felt like a deal. It was quiet, and the staff were accommodating, honest, and friendly. I paid cash and they gave me $20 back after realizing I’d been overcharged by mistake. I’ll definitely stay again next time.

We stayed at the Red Roof Inn Plus & Suites in Downtown Chattanooga on Christmas night because we needed an inexpensive, pet-friendly stop while traveling. My wife wanted a room with a jacuzzi tub, and she knew I was collecting points through Red Roof Inn. The first room was a mess. It didn’t seem thoroughly cleaned, the mattress looked yellow to my wife, the smoke detector was hanging off the wall, and the jacuzzi didn’t work. The front desk woman moved us to the room next door without a problem, and that jacuzzi worked, but there were still plenty of issues. Some tiles were chipped, part of the ceiling seemed to have water damage, and the bathroom grout looked poorly done. The LVT was lifting in places, and some outlets and switches left gaps around the holes in the wall. We did sleep well because the bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet. There was a lot wrong with the room, though, and I wouldn’t expect that from a place with “Plus” in its name.

The room was disgusting. There was blood on the sheets, crumbs in the bed, pubic hair on the pillows, dog pee smell, and slimy floors. We left for another hotel. They wouldn’t refund us, so we had to dispute the charge with the credit card company.
