Kerry’s leadership shows in how professional and coordinated the staff are, and it’s clear they care about guests. Stefanie at the front desk made check-in easy with her warm, helpful manner. Kris was just as good behind the bar, friendly and attentive, and knew the drinks. I had a great stay and would happily come back.

When something goes wrong, Kerry and Iris in management try to make it right. That’s been my experience, and issues can come up anywhere you stay. I keep returning to Element Chelmsford when I visit my hometown, Lowell, because the place is bright, clean, and feels like family. Breakfast is superb, the amenities are excellent, and Stephanie and Peter at the desk are always helpful. Roxanna in housekeeping and Helen in food service, along with the many other kind and efficient people whose names I may forget, do their best to make each stay pleasant. I love this hotel and highly recommend giving it a try.

Breakfast was better than I expected, with a nice range of choices each day, and the staff kept everything moving while staying friendly. We picked this place for five nights because it was the closest decent-priced option we could book near Salem. The beds were clean and comfortable, but the bathroom was a mess. The shower grout looked long overdue for a scrub, there was hair all over the stall, and toilet paper behind the toilet. We didn’t use the kitchenette utensils because they had dried food on them. My husband also noticed the square plates were too big to spin in the microwave.

Mitch was a friendly bartender and knew a lot about sports. He also made a great Manhattan. The bar was open every night except Sunday. Our accessible room was right by the lobby, and breakfast was free, with a person cooking from a menu that changed daily. The newly promoted GM was there and very friendly. Finding the place was a bit tricky, though Google Maps got it right. A great option for a visit to Lowell or a nearby town.
