I left my airpods at the hotel, and Mark from the staff kindly sent them back to my address. I was really impressed by that service. It’s a fantastic, affordable hotel, with a cozy stay, great access, lovely views, and a great team. Highly recommend.

The view was amazing, with a front-row seat to the mountain. Shops and dining are all within walking distance in the heart of Cherokee, NC. It’s a lovely little quaint motel, with wonderful staff and a very good breakfast that came out fresh and hot. Thanks for the hospitality and stay!

The owner was pleasant on the phone, then changed completely in person. I felt threatened and really thought I might have to defend myself. He seemed like a ticking time bomb, and doesn’t take even a kind concern or complaint well. It’s sad, because the place could be very nice with a refresh, but customers had better not complain. The bedding had stains that weren’t obvious unless you looked closely. The place smelled old, which I guess is why the windows were open. Some things were done, but only on the surface. It felt eerie, and I was misled by the review score.

The owners were so friendly and made us feel at home. The location is perfect, the views are beautiful, and our room was clean. We came for the weekend and ended up adding another night. She makes breakfast to order with fresh fruit, and it was absolutely delicious. I’d highly recommend this place, and we’ll definitely be back. Thanks so much for the hospitality.

Mark & Sue are wonderful hosts who go out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. The breakfasts are great, and the rooms are spacious and clean. You’re right in a central spot, with lots of places within walking distance.
