Days Inn Chester

There wasn't breakfast at this location, my only complaint. For the price, the room was clean and nice, with a comfortable bed and a comfortable temperature when I arrived. I checked in at noon, and the man at the front desk was very nice about moving me from a smoking room, if those are even still a thing, to a non-smoking room on the first floor.

I couldn't get past how many roaches we saw. We looked at five different rooms, and every one was infested, so we left right away instead of staying the few days we'd planned. In one room the fridge door wouldn't shut, and the front desk didn't seem concerned about any of it. I wouldn't recommend this place. I hope your stay is better than what I saw.

The website says breakfast is complimentary, but there wasn't any. We paid $106 for a terrible night's sleep, and I won't stay at another Wyndham property for as long as I live. The bed felt like a concrete slab, and the king mattress seemed like six feet of recycled cinder blocks with no box spring. My wife saw black, sludge-like sewage water start filling the tub when the neighbors showered, so neither of us showered. So much was wrong, and I'm upset there was no zero-star rating.

We got a quiet, cheap place to stay and got what we paid for. I was able to choose my room, and parking right in front was convenient. It needs repairs and updating: the tub was peeling, one lamp didn't work, and cigarette stains were on the counter. The faucet wouldn't shut off all the way and dripped all night. Bring a multi-outlet adapter and an extension cord, since the only available outlet is behind the bed.
