Red Roof Inn Chester

I booked at the last minute on 3/14/26 and had a really nice experience. I called late at night and Ebony was helpful and kind, with such a positive energy that she made everything easy for me and my boyfriend. Our room smelled clean, looked clean, and was very comfortable. Breakfast smelled great and was self serve, but we were in a hurry and couldn't stay for it. I'd book this location again if I needed to.

The rooms are clean, the breakfast is satisfying, and the staff are amazing. They go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable. It's also handy for stores and shopping centers, so don't hesitate to book.

The room was old and the finish was peeling, but that bed was COMFORTABLE, and that's what matters to me! I saw them stripping the beds, including the comforters, in other rooms as I left. The people were down to earth and straightforward, and the location was perfect. Bring your own soap and shower shoes. The coffee isn't strong.

The staff were friendly, but the room and grounds have put this Red Roof Inn off our list after several Florida trips. The bathroom and main-room flooring were torn and made a trip hazard, and the tub wouldn't drain. Outside, dog waste was scattered near the entrance, which was disgusting to walk through. Guests should clean up after their pets, and the motel needs to deal with the mess or charge for littering. At check-in they also added a $50 “folio” charge and assured me it would be removed at checkout. Since we had no incidental charges, I don't see why it was needed beyond the agreed room rate. I'll see whether it comes off, or dispute it.
