Clearwater Inn

The rooms were clean, and we felt comfortable there even though the motel is older. My husband has scent allergies, so the manager showed us a few rooms to help us find one that would work. We'd read reviews about the woman at the front desk. We had to leave the motel next door because of roaches, and since it was late, we walked over here. The manager was very direct about what they offer and doesn't tolerate anything that seems off with potential guests. I was fine with that. She has a business to run, and I'd recommend staying here.

The building leaks every day. The owner is rude and nasty. Find somewhere better to spend your money.

We stayed for three days and loved it. My wife and I plan to come back soon. The location is great, the room was super clean, the beds were comfy, and the bathroom was awesome. The woman at the front desk treated us respectfully, was patient with us, and let us keep the same rate for our stay. She wants cash only at the desk, which I can understand because people sometimes dispute charges and claim they didn't stay to get their money back. A nice man next door was awesome and even gave us a ride. One of the Muslim board members paid for our room.

We checked in Tuesday Jan 16th 2024 and were staying through Jan 29 2024. The owner/manager said we had to pay to renew by Monday night before 6pm, even though checkout wasn't until Tuesday at 11 am. Then she asked whether we could afford to stay, where we worked, how much we made per hour, where we came from, and how often we got paid. She spoke down to us like we were worthless. There wasn't a single car in the parking lot except hers. If she keeps running the place, it'll stay empty. I'd give it zero stars if I could. For a roach motel, I recommend nobody stay here.
