The bed was comfortable, and there were a few thoughtful little touches. The room was large, though the layout felt awkward. The bathroom wasn't especially clean and needs renovating. At reception, the person spoke only when necessary and didn't seem friendly.

A really nice family. They look after guests the way they look after one another.

The location was convenient, close to shops and food, and I'd stay here again. My room was very clean, with nice extra touches that even made the bathroom feel homey. The staff were kind, and I never saw a bug, despite what other reviews said. The TV kept asking for a Wi-Fi connection, though we weren't really paying attention to it. Loved the stay.

I booked a room because my house had no power during Hurricane Helene. When I tried to confirm the booking, nobody answered the phones. Priceline, where I booked, couldn't reach them either. I thought the hotel might be closed, so instead of driving across town I booked another place and asked to cancel less than 20 minutes after making the reservation. Three weeks later, I'm still waiting for the cancellation.
