It's a decent budget stay, and the location has promise, but the place is rough around the edges. Our room hadn't been properly cleaned: soap dispensers were empty, another guest's socks were left behind, and some furniture was damaged and dirty. A few other small things were off too. The walls are paper thin, and with the hotel right on a major road, you hear neighbors and traffic. Light sleepers and reactive pet owners should know that. The $45 pet fee isn't clearly shown on third-party sites like booking.com. There are also detailed pet restrictions that guests should read before booking. They're not unreasonable, but for example, your fur baby can't sleep in bed with you here. You get what you pay for, as they say.

A cute little hotel in a great spot, close to food and shopping. It's surprisingly quiet and easy to get to. The rooms are clean, and the owners respond quickly to problems or requests.

We had to clean the rooms and wash our own towels because housekeeping never came during our stay, even though we were charged a cleaning fee. The housekeeper was rude and said we'd damaged the blinds and a refrigerator part, although both were already like that when we arrived. She didn't raise those issues with the previous occupants, who were white, which made her behavior seem discriminatory. She also rushed us to leave and seemed upset that we didn't tip her. I don't understand how they justify keeping our deposit and charging us. The place was unprofessional and overcharged us, so I don't recommend it. We didn't take pictures because we thought they already knew about the damage.

The owners and staff were super friendly, and it's a great place for dogs. Check-in was a little confusing because I was traveling, not roaming, and didn't receive the text. We figured it out, though. I loved this motel.

The owners were attentive and really friendly. Even though the hotel sits on a busy road, there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Our room was quiet and extremely clean.
