La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Cleveland near Lee Univ

The room was really quiet, and we both slept very well. It was a standard king, spacious and clean, and the firm bed suited me. The pillows were lumpy, though. There was no outlet by the left bedside nightstand, so bring an extension cord. The corner chair was upholstered but had no armrests, so it wasn’t very comfortable for sitting. Maybe it’s meant for getting dressed. The shower was huge, with lots of hot water and good pressure. Breakfast was adequate, with hot eggs, sausage, and biscuits, and I appreciated that it was free. The AC worked well. Getting in was easy from the interstate. Front office staff were very friendly at check-in, and in the morning a housekeeping staff member smiled and said good morning as we passed in the hall. That makes a difference.

The room had a few things wrong with it, and the night person could use a lot of TLC. Still, the place was very clean, with a nice indoor pool, a good workout room, and guest laundry.

We had plenty of space for ourselves and our dogs, and the room was clean and stocked well. Breakfast had lots of hot choices, too. We’d stay here again on our Florida to Ohio trip.

Even though we arrived very late, check-in was friendly and helpful. The place was clean and comfortable. Breakfast ending at 9 felt a little rushed; I’d have preferred it stay open until 10. Still, a nice place.
