The room was disgusting. The shower was rusted and didn't work, and water backed up in the tub. The A/C smelled like stale smoke, there were dead roaches, and paint was peeling off the back of the door. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

A cockroach was crawling across the counter the morning we left, after water had been pouring through the bathroom ceiling since day three. Staff looked at the leak and said they could deal with it later. The room also smelled of cigarettes when we arrived for our five-day stay, so I mentioned it at check-in. The man there assured me it wouldn't affect our $100 deposit. Still, when we checked out early, they wouldn't refund us, and assistant manager Bethany refused to return the deposit or let us speak to her manager. She made accusations and wouldn't call the man who had reassured us at check-in. At 61, I've never felt scammed like this before. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone.

Getting to the interstate was easy, and the rates were reasonable. The cleaners were friendly and worked hard to keep things tidy; they also let all five of us share one room. But communication was tough because the cleaners and several other staff members spoke very little English. Maintenance was another problem. A bad leak spread into the walls and damaged them, and it took nearly two days to address. The stove fan also caught fire because of an electrical issue. I reported it, but was ignored. Bugs were a serious issue too.

We paid more than $2,000 cash for two weeks, then extended our stay for another two, and were charged twice for both the pet fee and the deposit. We checked out without getting the deposit back. In Room 240, moldy water dripped through a hole in the ceiling, there was no hot water, and the AC didn't work. Roaches were everywhere, and unknown bites appeared two nights before we left. Housekeeping was respectful and did a good job, but the front desk staff were a joke. There were bums and druggies all around, and needles where kids could find and play with them. Please don't waste your time or money here. For five dollars more, go somewhere else. My wife and I stayed from 7/2-7/26, and this was a horrible, despicable experience. Don't do it.
