The parking lot was still covered in ice and snow even though it had stopped snowing Monday. They’d cleared the driveway by the front desk and the walkways, but getting to your car was difficult and dangerous, with a risk of slipping. Inside, the hallways were dirty and the carpet had holes. WiFi was strong in the halls but painfully slow, and it didn’t work in the rooms, even after I changed rooms twice. After breakfast, they put away everything, including coffee and hot water for tea. Other hotels I’ve used have coffee available 24/7. I don’t recommend this place.

The prices, location, and customer service were all great, but the bed was so worn out I won’t come back. About 65% of it was dented in. Come on, they make enough money to replace a mattress.

Room 138 seemed fine until morning, when I saw a fairly large bed bug crawling on the pillow on the other bed. I took a picture to the front desk. Since I’d stayed the night and found it before checkout, I was first told I couldn’t get a refund. Then they said Super.com would refund me, but the hotel had to confirm it and would only refund 10%, or $6. The woman at the desk, who looked around 50, was of Indian descent and had two earrings in one ear. She was rude, impatient, and disrespectful. She’d also rudely told the man before me to move aside so she could help me instead of asking him politely. Her customer service was nonexistent. I’ll never use Super.com or Econolodge again. Not everyone should work in customer service, especially her.

For around $60 or less a night, I’d book this motel again if I needed budget accommodations. It’s old and needs some TLC, but you get what you pay for. The fridge, microwave, and fairly new TV were nice to have. The lobby smell makes a poor first impression, and the bed frames creaked loudly in our room. Still, I’ll stay again if I need to.
