Quality Inn

The room didn’t match the pictures at all. We had a king bed with only two little throw pillows and had to ask for proper ones. For two people staying two nights, the bathroom had just two towels and two washcloths. The room was large but badly in need of updating, with holes in the walls, and the microwave was full of rust. They call themselves pet friendly, but they aren’t. The staff weren’t friendly either. The so-called Banquet room could be beautiful, but all the live plants were dead. Carpeting throughout was filthy, stained, and torn, especially in the hallways, where there were also holes in the walls. The grounds were littered with debris and poorly maintained. Walking through those hallways felt like a Stephen King movie, or a prison, though a prison might be better kept. Nasty place. It should be shut down. A “Choice” hotel? Definitely not. Do not stay here. Ever.

We were part of a group of over a hundred, and while a few people had decent stays, most of us didn’t. The hotel is obviously outdated, but cleanliness was the real issue. In the first room, we opened the door to air it out, but the smell was too much. The replacement room was worse, with an even stronger odor and multiple large stains on the floor. The front desk area says a lot. I can handle a cheap hotel, but not one that smells putrid and makes you feel like things are crawling all over you. They couldn’t refund our booking, but luckily we found a room down the street. I’d rather have slept in the car.

I was here for an extended stay. The rooms were clean, the food was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I’d stay here again.

There was no microwave in my room, the fridge didn’t work, and the curtains wouldn’t close all the way. The walls had brown streaks and holes, and both the rooms and hallways were disgusting. The front desk refused to move me. Breakfast was bad too: the coffee machine didn’t work, and a guy said it had been broken the whole month he’d been there. The food was so undercooked it might as well still have been in the ground. Do not stay here.
