The Highlands Estate

Whitney & Gard were friendly and helpful throughout the wedding day, and really joined the team instead of standing back. That made the time at the venue so much more enjoyable. As a wedding videographer, I love the romantic look of the place and how thoughtfully the owners designed it to work well, too. I feel honored to have captured my couple’s love story there, and I’m looking forward to returning for more.

The views and the handcrafted tables and chairs in the barn were gorgeous, and I wouldn’t change a thing about my wedding on 10-11-25. It was the best day of my life. Whitney & Gard, the owners of Highlands Estate, were kind, responsive, and clearly know weddings. They truly wanted to make the day magical for us. I feel so lucky I got to meet them. Thank you for making Kevin and I’s big day so special!

Our family stayed in the Estate main house, including the bride and maid of honor. It was beautifully decorated, welcoming, and we loved it. The wedding was a month ago today, and the vineyard views with yellow and orange fall colors were stunning. The couple’s photos turned out beautifully. Whitney’s suggestions made planning come together quickly, from the caterer to outside hotels and restaurants for the rehearsal dinner. Sonoma County Catering was a friendly, family-run business. Heather, the manager we worked with, had to think creatively to make the menu work for our vegan couple, and the food was delicious. I even heard a few guests say they’d eat vegan food all the time if it tasted like that. We’re so glad we held the wedding at Highlands Estate.

On a warm day, everything was set up to keep guests comfortable. The barn had air conditioning, outdoor tables sat under umbrellas, and the bar was in the covered breezeway, so we could eat, dance, and spend time with friends with ease. Gard and Whitney’s care shows in the details, from the charming powder rooms and dressing rooms to the barn ceiling with its draping and chandeliers. The setting has gorgeous views in every direction, and every element for a wedding or party seems to have been thoughtfully carried out. My husband and I were delighted to attend an event at Highlands Estate. It’s a wonderful place to celebrate.
