The rooms were clean and spacious, and breakfast was decent and ready on time, but the choices were very limited. The bar was always closed and the staff seemed kind of lazy. I wouldn’t order lunch or dinner: I saw a bunch of chicken wraps sitting on the counter for hours. Watch where you park too, several vehicles behind the building had busted windows.

For an international flight, the location was especially convenient. The loop road gets you to the international terminal in about 10 minutes without returning to the interstate, which made the trip easy and stress-free. Just know there’s no shuttle to that terminal, so you’ll need to drive or use Uber, and you can hear planes since you’re right by the airport. The room was comfortable and as expected, breakfast was good, and Shanette at the front desk was friendly and helpful with our questions. She made check-in easy. I had a good stay at the Hyatt Place Atlanta Airport-South.

Snow delays in NYC left me needing somewhere near the airport at the last minute. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room was large and clean. They gave me complimentary late checkout, and the price was reasonable. The airport shuttle comes every 30 minutes. Ruby Tuesday's is within walking distance.

It’s a budget hotel, but the rooms were clean and newly renovated, and the staff were extremely friendly. They also have fun things for guests. On my most recent visit I was the “guest of the day,” which came with a few special perks. You can tell some employees really care about the guest experience, and that’s why we keep coming back.

I give Hyatt Place Atlanta Airport five stars without apology. A hotel by the airport should have a comfortable bed, a working shower, a clean room, and convenient access. They delivered those basics promptly, and anything extra is a bonus. The staff were excellent: friendly, attentive, and quick to help, which matters more to me than extra polish. I’m not sure why some guests seem to expect a Ritz and feel disappointed when it isn’t one. The breakfast is what you’d expect here, hot and filling enough to hold you over until a proper meal. I skipped it because powdered eggs and I are old enemies, but I don’t begrudge anyone who eats it. I’m giving the place five stars partly to balance out reviews from people whose expectations were misplaced. Know what you’re booking, and it delivers.
