I’m so grateful for the care Shaun and Montavius showed us. My husband and I were traveling under extremely devastating circumstances and had specific medical needs. They found solutions for my niche requests and were kind, caring, and generous without knowing what we were dealing with. Excellent front desk service from two compassionate gentlemen. The rooms were clean and the bedsheets spotless, and the food from ‘Bowties’ was delicious. Very pleased with the hotel experience.

I enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and just what I needed for two nights. Breakfast was great for a free continental spread, with eggs, bacon, turkey bacon, sausage, waffles, fruit, yogurt, cereal, bread, and bagels. The Bahamian chef did a superb job, and I made sure to compliment him. The one thing I didn’t like was that staff entered the room even though I hadn’t requested room service. Aside from that, I was very pleased and still give them five stars.

Breakfast was okay, but all the stations were left completely uncovered for hours. Only one elevator worked for six floors, and it would get stuck. I arrived at 8 and had to change rooms because the previous guest had smoked in mine. In the replacement room, there was long hair on the towels and stains on the bedding. I wouldn’t recommend it or stay here again unless you’re fine with two-star hotels. I’d rather sleep at the airport.

We lifted off in Buffalo at 6:50 and arrived in Atlanta at 8:30, but didn’t get to our room until 11:20 pm. Getting from the airport to this hotel 2.7 mi away took three hours, including the shuttle and check-in. We spent longer in the lobby line than on everything else, even the half-hour wait for the free shuttle combined. I honestly thought it was a prank or some kind of test. There was no storm, power outage, or emergency. Nobody offered an explanation, just crickets. In a service business, people deserve some explanation. I’ve never experienced anything like it, and I still can’t believe it. The front desk associates were friendly, and I don’t blame them unless they were responsible for staffing, in which case it’s 100% on them, though I don’t think it was. The company should be embarrassed. This will be a story for life, and not in a good way for Wyndom. I wrote a lot, but I’m still flabbergasted. They were so underprepared for check-ins that I wouldn’t consider them again in any capacity.
