Best Western Plus College Station Inn & Suites

We had to leave town because of a storm coming in the evening before our planned trip, and this hotel was conveniently placed on College Station's south side. It's a basic, no-frills room, but it was clean and the front desk staff were helpful. There were lots of breakfast options, and attendant Estella was a ray of sunshine as we got back on the road, smiling and helpful. I did see a staff member pick up food with her hands instead of using the tongs, so I'd be cautious about getting bacon. Still, it's a decent room for a good price, and I'd stay again.

I was here through TEEX (Texas A&M Engineering Extension), and the early morning cooks started serving us ahead of schedule because we had to leave so early. The food was great. My room felt like a home away from home, with a big TV, Keurig and pods, microwave, and fridge, and it was clean. Saltgrass Steakhouse, Walk-Ons Sports Bar(Cajun food here), and Gringos are all within walking distance of the front door. If you need somewhere to stay in the area, this place isn't a bad choice.

Eli at the front desk really helped make our stay positive. He asked how the boys were doing during their soccer tournament and helped us figure out whether to take the team to Walk Ons across the street, even though the big game was on and it might get crowded. He was so friendly. We'll definitely try to come back next year.

We came for graduation and it was our first time staying here. The staff were really welcoming and friendly, check-in was quick and easy, and the rooms looked beautiful. There was a huge dining area and a great breakfast, plus comfy beds and pillows. We'd definitely stay again. Highly recommend.
