The owners were so friendly and welcoming, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Chestnut Cottage is beautiful, very clean, full of amazing history, and in a great location. The beds are absolutely the best. It’s by far my favorite B&B I’ve ever stayed in, and I can’t think of one negative thing to say.

The hosts are friendly and knowledgeable, and every detail of breakfast was handled meticulously. The food was delicious, too. After 35 years of travel across many countries and most of the states, this is the best bed-and-breakfast we’ve stayed in. Its location is ideal.

The Garden Room was cozy, and I don’t think I’ve slept in a more comfortable bed while traveling. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating. You can tell they put a lot of care into making the stay worthwhile. We had a wonderful time and will definitely make this our go-to whenever we’re in the area.

Our hosts were very accommodating, and the location worked perfectly for seeing a show at the township auditorium while visiting from out of town. I think our room was called the General. It had a main room, another room with a bed and hot tub, and a bathroom. The rooms were decorated for the season, and the snack area had wonderful baked goods and peppermint bark. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend it.

For his birthday, all my son wanted was a night at Chesnut Cottage. The owners made him feel so special and loved, from the popcorn and hot cocoa bear in his room to the sweetest birthday card and cake. He loved every second and called it his “best birthday ever”! ❤️
