Days Inn Columbia

I came for a military graduation and left without staying. The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, had mold around the tub and sink, and the sheets had the f word written on them in pen. People were smoking weed, drinking, and making noise around the front desk when we arrived. I told the desk we wouldn't stay and was promised a full refund. That was March 12, and by May 13 it still hadn't been processed. After contacting my bank and Expedia, I was just told it would be returned. I was shocked a hotel like this was listed for booking in America.

The manager at Days Inn Bush River Road made our stay so much better. He's friendly, efficient, and clearly cares about guests. He runs things professionally and has a great attitude. Thanks for the wonderful service!

We were shocked by how often the front desk was unattended. A sign said the employee would be back in 30 minutes, and another time it said an hour because he was napping. The young man, Mikah, was also rude, curt, and unpleasant when we did see him. Our family stayed at days inn and had an awful experience. PLUS THEY THEY NEVER HAD VHS. Those issues were enough that I would never stay there again. He should be fired. Worst experience of our life.

Jarod, the manager, really stood out. He was attentive and professional, and it felt like he genuinely cared about looking after guests and improving the property. The staff were helpful and friendly too. Inside, the renovated rooms were fresh, modern, clean, and comfortable, even though the building exterior looks a bit rough at first. There are places nearby to grab a quick bite, and our stay exceeded expectations. My husband and I would come back when we're in the area.
